Every day, scientists eagerly share their work in proposals and papers, conferences and classrooms, meetings and outreach events. But, a tragic number of scientists come away disappointed when people fail to engage with their message.

This hands-on workshop demonstrates how elements of storytelling can enhance audience engagement. We will discuss how to share your work more effectively, using clear terms and compelling stories. We will also provide actionable tips and templates to build your communication skills and better bridge the gap between your message and audience. (All are welcome, graduate students are encouraged to attend.)
