Scott received UBC Killam Research Prize

Congratulations to Dr. Douglas Scott, who received the 2017 UBC Killam Research Prize. The prize recognizes outstanding research and scholarly contributions. Each year, up to ten prizes of $5,000 each are awarded.

Douglas' research area is Cosmology, looking at how structure in the Universe formed, and investigating the parameters which describe the entire Universe. He has been a member of several international collaborations, including Planck, SCUBA-2, and BLAST.
