Abstract: We expose the details of a new duality
between warped flux compactifications and Calabi-Yau spaces in a
concrete type IIB orientifold example with N=2 supersymmetry. We
constructed the Calabi-Yau geometry which matches all expectations on
its topological and geometrical properties based on the dual flux
background. Besides the geometric construction, we also offer a description based
on 'string junctions' and monodromy matrices.
