MSc student Michelle Kunimoto named Forbes "30 under 30"

Congratulations to PHAS student Michelle Kunimoto being named Forbes "30 under 30" in Science! Last year, she discovered four new planets beyond our solar system, one of which is in the habitable zone of its star where the temperature would allow liquid water and maybe even life.

Michele completed her undergraduate honours degree in Physics and Astronomy just last year. She is currently a Masters Candidate in the department, furthering her study and research in Astronomy.
