Rockies Road Trip

Mid August 2005 arrived and thus cued the freedom from third year medicine for Jacqui. Steve being of course of the sort of career choices which allow for weather window holidays was also at the ready for a little out of town action. Flash had fresh oil, new front tires, and a sexy new stereo, thus as a trio we were set for a Rockies Road trip!

A quick pit stop at Yak peak, for a four pitch taster, then on to Revelstoke for the night. Next into the Rockies, Edith Cavell's East ridge too snowy, but very beautiful. Down the Icefields Park Way to the back of Lake Louise for an afternoon of sport climbing.

A weather window allowed us a spanking good day on Mt. Sir Donald. Lastly a briefy escapade to the bugaboos under clear skies for a couple of classics (Kaine and Mctech arete).

Blessed by fantastic wildlife encounters throught.
