Physics 209 Laboratory

Experiment #3 is designed to further develop your familiarity with the key measurement instruments; the oscilloscope and digital multimeter. Both will be used to measure an RC transient; the oscilloscope providing an exercise in triggering and quick estimation, the digital multimetre is used in a more advanced way as a programmable instrument. The data will provide you with real numbers to try analysis in gnuplot (or Mathematica or the software of your choice - your software must do a correct least squares fit!).
