One of the tools we use to monitor BLAST in flight. This screen gives a current view (less than 1 minute delay) of all major parameters, including pointing, temperatures, and detector signals. During line-of-sight, the first ~17 hours of the flight before the telescope passed over the horizon, we received all data fields at full resolution (1 megabit per second). After that we receive data over satellite at the much slower rate of 6 kilobits per second.
Another tool used to view data. With this one we can see how the signals change over time.
The map of the Arctic which we use to plot BLAST's progress. At the time of the exposure, we were just reaching the coast of Greenland.
