PHAS grad student advanced to UBC final of "Three Minute Thesis"

Congratulations to graduate students Nathan Evetts (supervisor: Dr. Walter Hardy) and Sandra Meyers (supervisor: Dr. Alex MacKay), whose excellent presentations advanced them from our Physics and Astronomy heat to the UBC-wide semi-finals in the "Three Minute Thesis" competition at UBC.
- Sandra Meyers , Ph.D. in Physics. Presentation: Wet brains, dry brains: How can MRI help us learn about multiple sclerosis?
- Nathan Evetts, M.Sc. In Physics. Presentation: Making Anti-Matter
Nathan Evetts also received the "People's Choice" award, voted by audience members in the Physics and Astronomy heat.
