October 10, 2014

Engineering Physics student Afshin Haidari-Khabbaz was recently awarded the Tim Mott Electronic Arts Scholarship. Congratulations Afshin!

Afshin had worked for Electronic Arts (EA) for a year on co-op. The award is internal to EA, awarded to a total of 5 co-ops and interns among the ~150 EA hires globally. It was awarded on the basis of growth, impact in their respective teams, and feedback from the Managers and Development Directors on the teams.

“My experience at EA has been a game-changing year, as I have found my niche in Animation and Cinematics development,” said Afshin. “EA has fostered my growth, and their company is one that gives back what you put in. I am humbled to receive this award, which will make a huge impact in helping me start my professional life after graduation.”

As the winner of this scholarship, Afshin will receive $5,000 to further his education. But, the experience at EA and the doors it opens for his future is priceless.

Congratulations again Afshin!
